What to expect:

• Ensuring the proper and economically optimal processing of predominantly national transport orders (system traffic)
• Controlling and coordinating transport entrepreneurs as well as controlling transport processes
• Ensuring the optimal utilization of transport modes as well as continuous improvement of operational processes
• Monitoring processed transport orders in terms of quality and costs
• Controlling the WAB pool stocks at the Logistics Centers and depots as well as at customer locations
• General administrative tasks in the dispatch area

What you bring:

• Completed training as a Kaufmann/-frau (m/f/d) for Spedition-und Logistikdienstleistungen or a comparable qualification with initial professional experience in LKW-Disposition (local and/or long-distance dispatch (WAB))
• Good knowledge of geography
• Strong numerical understanding and high cost awareness
• Customer-oriented thinking and acting as well as the willingness to work in a team and in shifts (mainly a 2-shift system between 6:00 - 22:00)
• Communication skills, resilience, and the ability to work independently and responsibly
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel)
• English skills in speaking and writing
