Location: Virginia City Highlands, Nevada 89521 Caregiver Rate: $17.50/hour Start Date: January 30, 2025 (TBD) Hiring: Open to hiring 2 caregivers
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable female caregiver to support Rita , an elderly woman in her 80s living with dementia and short-term memory impairment . The goal of care is to ensure her safety, comfort, and daily well-being through attentive supervision and hands-on support.
Care Responsibilities
Assistance with basic daily care needs
Meal preparation
Companionship and continuous supervision
Guidance and support with walking
Personal care, including bathing and dressing
Light household assistance to maintain a safe environment
Who We’re Looking For
Preferably middle age and above (for communication compatibility)
Experience with dementia care is highly preferred
Patient, calm, and attentive demeanor
Some healthcare background required
Schedule
Friday through Monday
10 hours per day
8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
This role is well-suited for a caregiver who values relationship-based care, understands the needs of individuals with memory impairment, and can provide steady, reassuring support throughout the day.
