Import and Procurement Manager

A leading company in the medical device field is recruiting an Import and Procurement Manager to lead all procurement, import, and inventory management activities of the company, while ensuring product availability, meeting deadlines, and continuous improvement of operational processes. The role includes full responsibility for procurement processes domestically and abroad, managing imports, shipping and customs brokerage, supplier management, inventory planning and control, as well as routine work with internal and external interfaces.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Overall management of the procurement, import, and inventory system in the company
• Management and leadership of the procurement and import team
• Procurement planning, inventory control, and monitoring of delivery times
• Managing relationships with suppliers domestically and worldwide and monitoring orders
• Managing import processes, international shipping, customs brokerage, and export activities for repairs
• Working with Sales, Finance, Logistics, Regulation, and Management departments
• Leading improvement, efficiency, and operational control processes
• Managing procurement and import budgets in accordance with sales forecasts and company needs

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement and import management – Mandatory.
• Experience working with international suppliers – Mandatory.
• Experience in inventory planning, demand management, and complex procurement processes – Mandatory
• Familiarity with the Medical Device field, including consignment inventory – Advantage
• In-depth familiarity with import processes, customs brokerage, and regulation – Mandatory.
• Very high level of English (speaking, reading, and writing) – Mandatory.
• Full command of Office applications and ERP systems – Mandatory.
• Experience working with Priority system – Significant advantage (familiarity with MRP module)
• Experience in automation and AI processes in the procurement and import worlds – Advantage
• Ability to work in a multi-interface environment, systemic vision, high level of order and organization, and the ability to drive processes.
