Your tasks

• Conception and design of plastic injection molds (manufacturability/feasibility analyses)
• Creation of requirement specifications and specifications, especially for new tools
• Inquiry for new tools in connection with the calculation of tool prices from external mold makers
• Implementation and calculation of tool changes in coordination with purchasing
• Interpretation and improvement of tool concepts/designs
• Monitoring of external tool manufacturing (domestic and international); contact person for technical questions
• Accompanying tool sampling up to series release

Your profile

• Completed training as a Werkzeugmechaniker - Formenbau with subsequent further training as a Meister or Techniker or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in the manufacture of complex injection molds
• Experience with plastic injection molding production processes in connection with the corresponding tool technology
• Good CAD program knowledge
• Independent, analytical and result-oriented way of working
• Good English skills
• Willingness to travel
