Whether articulated vehicle, Euro and Megatrailer or standard truck – As a member of our team, you organize the safe and punctual delivery for partial and full loads. You are also the competent contact person for our customers for dangerous goods, less than truckload or Direct Load. In cooperation with other medium-sized freight forwarding and logistics companies, you offer a comprehensive service for the procurement and distribution of our customers' goods.
About the Job
- In this position, you are responsible for the dispatching of trucks in national long-distance transport
- This includes the independent sale and purchase of partial and full loads
- Dispatching of own trucks as well as communication with drivers, customers and supervisors
- Active assurance of loading and delivery deadlines while observing applicable social regulations, especially driving and rest times
- Creation of daily prices and offers
- Purchasing of carriers and cargo space for efficient transport solutions, taking into account optimal capacity utilization
- Building and maintaining a strong network of carriers and customer relationships
About You
- Completed commercial training, e.g., as Kaufmann/ Kauffrau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung or a comparable qualification
- Decisive factor is several years of professional experience in the dispatching of own trucks, ideally in the area of long-distance transport
- Knowledge of social regulations in freight transport, especially regarding driving and rest times
- Proficient in handling common MS Office applications
- Confident English skills in a professional context
- High degree of teamwork and cross-departmental thinking
