QA Automation Tester

Job Requirement:

• Relevant Years of experience: 4 to 5 years with hands-on Selenium automation experience, particularly in script maintenance, debugging & Jenkins execution/troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium automation (mandatory)
• Basic to intermediate programming/scripting knowledge (e.g.: Jayan, Python or similar)
• Work independently on assigned tasks with guidance available
• Willingness to learn & improve automation skills
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing Selenium automation scripts to support ongoing application and regression testing requirements.
• Execute automated test scripts using Jenkins and troubleshoot execution failures, pipeline issues, and environment-related problems.
• Debug Selenium scripts and identify root causes of test failures, including application, script, data, and configuration issues.
• Develop and modify automation scripts using Java, Python, or similar programming/scripting languages .
• Analyze automation test results, document defects, and work with development and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Perform regular script maintenance and optimization to improve test stability, reliability, and execution efficiency.
• Maintain clear test documentation, execution reports, defect logs, and automation-related technical documentation.
• Work independently on assigned automation tasks while seeking guidance for complex technical issues when required.
• Continuously learn and adopt automation best practices, Selenium enhancements, and CI/CD practices to improve testing efficiency.
