Java Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining enterprise Java applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework , with solid experience in API development and backend application design.

Experience with MariaDB and MongoDB will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Apache Kafka and familiarity with CI/CD processes will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Framework .
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applications.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into robust backend solutions.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure application components.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including MariaDB and MongoDB .
• Participate in application integration and troubleshoot backend and API-related issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of professional experience in Java application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Framework .
• Good experience in backend application development and service-oriented architecture.
• Strong experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs .
• Good understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Experience with MariaDB is preferred.
• Experience with MongoDB is desirable.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or event-driven architecture will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and software development lifecycle.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git .
