Your tasks

Job Description

• writing clean, secure, and maintainable code and testing it
• primary use of agile software development methods and Gitflow process
• development, maintenance, and improvement of complex web applications and software solutions
• maintaining high standards of quality, security, and performance
• proposing technical solutions and participating in architectural decisions
• mentoring team members and participating in code reviews
• proactively proposing improvements to development processes and existing solutions
• collaboration with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams
• independently taking responsibility for more complex tasks alongside team collaboration
• optimizing applications, databases, and integrations
• developing applications primarily using PHP, Laravel, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• assessing complexity and development time and elaborating technical requirements
• continuous learning and responsible application of AI tools in software development

Requirements

Requirements Professional experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in web application development, with experience in independent development and maintenance of production solutions. The following technologies are particularly relevant:

• PHP, Laravel
• React, JavaScript, TypeScript (knowledge of Vue.js is an additional advantage)
• REST API, integrations with external systems
• MySQL (experience with other relational or NoSQL databases is an advantage)

Technical Skills

• excellent knowledge of PHP and Laravel and experience in API development and integration.
• advanced experience in developing modern user interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• understanding of data modeling, SQL queries, optimization, and working with MySQL databases.
• experience with Git, Gitflow workflow, pull requests, and the code review process.
• experience in agile software development and working in agile development teams.
• understanding of application architecture, design patterns, security, and scalability.
• ability to write readable and maintainable code along with quality tests and documentation.
• preferably an understanding of DevOps practice basics, including CI/CD, deployment, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS); experience with AI tools for development is an additional advantage.

• excellent knowledge of English for communication with clients and team members.
• clearly communicating technical decisions, collaborating with other teams, and providing guidance to developers.

• experience with the code review process, automated tests, and maintaining quality standards.
• recognizing and proposing improvements to existing code, with the aim of increasing the quality, performance, and maintainability of software solutions.

Business Understanding and Time Management

• understanding of business requirements, user needs, and the impact of technical decisions on the product.
• realistic assessment of tasks, timely communication of risks, and responsibility for agreed deadlines.

Leadership and Mentorship

• experience in mentoring junior and mid-level developers and sharing knowledge.
• ability to provide technical guidance and support in the distribution and realization of tasks.

Continuous Learning

• interest in new technologies, AI-assisted development, and the responsible application of new tools while verifying results.

Portfolio and Projects

• examples of projects or specific contributions that demonstrate technical expertise, independence, and problem-solving abilities.
