Job Summary

Consult with clients to understand their styling needs and preferences. Perform haircuts, styling, coloring, perming, scalp treatments, and hair washing using proper techniques. Maintain cleanliness and recommend suitable hair care products while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to identify their styling preferences and recommend suitable hair care services
• Perform haircuts, styling, hair coloring, perming, and scalp treatments to meet client expectations
• Wash, condition, and blow-dry clients’ hair using appropriate techniques and products for healthy hair results
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Recommend hair care products and services tailored to individual client needs to enhance hair health and style
• Build client rapport and retention by delivering attentive and professional customer service

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Hair Stylist or Hairdresser
• Proficient in basic and advanced haircutting, coloring, and chemical treatment techniques
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift hours as required
