Heidelberg Materials AG is looking for an immediate
Head of Maintenance (m/f/d).
You will become part of a dedicated team and bear overall responsibility for the mechanical and electrical maintenance functions at the Ennigerloh plant. Your primary goal is to maintain and continuously improve the availability and reliability of the plants from an economic perspective.
Your place of work is located in Ennigerloh and you report to the Plant Manager.
Your tasks - taking responsibility and making a difference together:
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the teams in mechanical and electrical maintenance, MCC (Planning & Inspection), warehouse, as well as vocational training.
- Ensuring occupational safety in the entire maintenance area including risk assessments, instructions, and consistent role model function.
- Planning and efficient implementation of all maintenance and repair measures in close coordination with production - including annual shutdowns, repair projects, and compliance with quality and time specifications to minimize downtime.
- Strategic further development of maintenance, including the development of a long-term maintenance strategy, promotion of insourcing competencies, and the use of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance methods.
- Continuous optimization of maintenance processes, e.g., digitalization of workflows, Condition Monitoring, and conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
- Budget responsibility and technical control, including annual budget planning, cost control, preparation of technical specifications, support for tenders, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and legal regulations.
Your qualifications - how you can contribute to us:
- A completed engineering degree, ideally in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment - preferably in cement production or a comparable process industry operation.
- Experience in leading employees or working groups as well as proficiency in project management.
- Good knowledge of SAP, especially in the maintenance modules.
- Good written and spoken English skills.

Depending on qualification and experience, the position is classified in the remuneration range of €80k - €100k gross/year. The final remuneration will be determined within the framework of the existing remuneration system.
