We enable new opportunities for our customers through digitalisation. For our Procurement Department, we are looking for a Global Team Lead Supplier Quality Management (f/m/d). As part of the Group Procurement function, you will lead Heidelberg Materials' Supplier Quality Management activities across all major spend categories, including CAPEX, OPEX, raw materials, services and operational procurement. Working closely with Global Category Management, Engineering, Operations and suppliers worldwide, you will play a key role in safeguarding quality, mitigating risks and driving operational excellence across our global supplier base. The position is part of Heidelberg Materials' Group Procurement function and reports directly to the Head of Investment Project Procurement while maintaining a strong functional alignment with the Competence Center Cement (CCC). The position is based at Heidelberg Materials' headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany, and offers close collaboration with international stakeholders across our global organization.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

Shape and lead Heidelberg Materials' global Supplier Quality Management strategy and governance framework. Build and develop a global Supplier Quality network together with our Global Sourcing Offices and regional procurement teams across Europe, India and China. Establish and continuously improve supplier qualification, audit, inspection and supplier performance management processes. Drive supplier development initiatives and support strategic suppliers in achieving world-class quality performance. Partner with Procurement, Engineering and Operations to identify quality risks, improve supplier performance and strengthen our global supply base. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the global supply chain.

Commitment that pays off

YOUR PROFILE Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Extensive experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Development or Industrial Operations. Proven leadership experience in an international and multicultural environment. Proven experience conducting supplier audits, manufacturing assessments, FATs and equipment inspections. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, welding, machining, casting and assembly, as well as industrial quality management systems. Demonstrated success in supplier development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. Ability to combine hands-on quality expertise with strategic process development and leadership. Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.
