We’re recruiting for an experienced Sales & Compliance Manager to join a growing same-day and specialist delivery business.
This is a varied role combining business development, account management and transport compliance. You’ll be responsible for generating new business, developing existing customer relationships and ensuring the company maintains high compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new business opportunities across the UK.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
- Prepare quotes, tenders and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate rates while protecting margins.
- Maintain the sales pipeline and achieve agreed targets.
- Manage driver, vehicle and company compliance records.
- Carry out regular compliance checks and audits.
- Ensure licences, insurance, training and documentation are up to date.
- Keep up to date with relevant UK transport and regulatory requirements.
About You
- Previous sales/business development experience, ideally within transport or logistics.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with compliance, audits or operational documentation.
- Proactive, driven and comfortable working independently.
