Store Keeper (Welding consumables)

•Receive and verify materials against Purchase Orders, delivery documents, specifications, and certificates where applicable. •Maintain proper identification, segregation, storage, preservation, and traceability of welding consumables. •Control welding electrodes, wires, fluxes, including baking/re-drying and related records where applicable. •Maintain stock of fabrication consumables such as cutting/grinding discs, abrasives, drill bits, saw blades, welding accessories, other tools etc. •Control and issue PPE and safety materials according to company requirements. •Maintain inventory and issue/return records for tools and other controlled items. •Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and prepare replenishment requests. •Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile inventory discrepancies. •Segregate and identify expired, damaged, rejected, quarantined, or non-conforming materials. •Maintain required store documentation and support QC, Production, HSE, and ASME/QMS audits. •Immediately report material discrepancies, loss of traceability, shortages, or non-conforming materials. •Maintain good housekeeping and safe storage practices within the store.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree / Diploma / Certificate in Store/Warehouse Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred 2–5 years of experience, preferably in pressure vessel, heat exchanger, piping, or fabrication industry Experience in an ASME-certified fabrication environment is an advantage Basic knowledge of welding consumables, material certificates, batch/lot numbers, and material traceability Basic computer skills, particularly MS Excel and inventory systems Good documentation, organizational, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
