Education: Master's degree.
Asset languages: Mandarin. Cantonese.
Work setting: Chronic or long-term care facilities/centres. Nursing home/home for the aged.
Tasks:
- Assign health care workers to specific projects and programs.
- Coordinate the delivery of health care services within the department.
- Direct and control daily operations .
- Evaluate daily operations .
- Plan and organize daily operations.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for delivery of health care services.
- Hire, train, direct and motivate staff.
- Develop evaluation systems to monitor health care services.
- Oversee the analysis of data and information.
- Oversee the preparation of reports.
- Co-ordinate work of doctors, nurses and other staff.
- Provide nursing care.
