Shape the future of procurement. For an internationally leading company, we are looking for an experienced Head of Procurement Excellence (m/f/d) as part of an exclusive mandate, with the primary place of work in Berlin (approx. 70%).

Within an international organization, you will take responsibility for the design and further development of Procurement Excellence, Governance, Analytics, Market Intelligence, Risk Management, and Forecasting, creating the prerequisites for a high-performance, resilient, and future-oriented procurement function.

In doing so, the focus is particularly on the impact of geopolitical developments, regulatory changes, as well as the use of artificial intelligence and automation.

Job Description

• Leadership and further development of an international Procurement Excellence organization.
• Responsibility for the strategic further development of the areas of Procurement Excellence, Governance, Analytics, Market Intelligence, Risk Management, and Forecasting.
• Analysis, optimization, and harmonization of existing procurement processes on an international level.
• Development and implementation of efficient governance and performance structures within the procurement organization.
• Establishment and further development of data-driven control and reporting instruments.
• Assessment of global market, supply chain, and procurement risks as well as derivation of suitable measures.
• Analysis of regulatory developments and their impact on the procurement strategy.
• Identification and implementation of AI and automation solutions to increase efficiency and transparency in procurement.
• Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders on an international level.
• Support and management of strategic transformation and change initiatives.

Requirement Profile

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of leadership experience within a large international corporate organization.
• Experience in leading larger teams as well as in the further development of executives.
• Proven success in the establishment, further development, or transformation of procurement organizations.
• Sound knowledge in the areas of Procurement Excellence, Governance, Performance Management, or Procurement Transformation.
• Experience in the design and optimization of international procurement processes.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical developments, regulatory requirements, and their impact on global supply chains.
• Experience in the use of modern technologies, data analytics, and artificial intelligence in procurement.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and conceptual skills.
• High communication and stakeholder management competence.
• Business fluent English skills.
