Our client is an internationally growing company with modern finance structures and a consistently data-driven orientation. At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a Financial Data Analyst (m/f/d) in Berlin, Munich, or remote from Germany, with a focus on the Accounting area.

Job Description

• Carrying out cross-system reconciliations between ERP, BI, and finance systems to ensure high data quality
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closings through data-based analyses and validations
• Creation of ad-hoc evaluations as well as development of meaningful reports and dashboards for the finance team
• Development and implementation of automated control and audit mechanisms to improve data quality and efficiency
• Identification and optimization of finance and accounting processes as well as supporting system and ERP further developments
• Close cooperation with Accounting, Controlling, and other specialist departments as a contact person for data- and process-related questions

Requirement Profile

• Successfully completed studies in the field of Business Administration, Controlling, Data Analytics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or Financial Data Analytics
• Good understanding of financial accounting, booking logics, and accounting processes
• Very good knowledge of Power BI or comparable Business Intelligence tools
• SAP knowledge
• Experience in using SQL for data analysis
• Business fluent English skills; business fluent German skills are an advantage
