Your tasks

In this responsible position, you will report directly to the Team Lead Liability and Accident Insurance Industry Claims and, after a corresponding induction phase, will be responsible for independent task processing. We are looking for 1 Legal Assistant Claims - Claims Specialist. Do you want to apply your insurance knowledge in practice and process claims independently? Do you enjoy assessing facts according to legal, technical, or economic-economic aspects and finding solutions? Are you looking for a varied activity in a dedicated team?

• Independent processing of claims with a focus on motor vehicle insurance

• Recording and checking of documents as well as administration of business cases

• Examination of the insurance contract with regard to coverage and liability

• Assessment of the legality of claims for benefits

• Determination and payment of the compensation amount

• Communication with customers, intermediaries, injured parties, workshops, and cooperation partners

• Regress and fraud detection

Requirements

• Completed education, e.g., HAK/HTL, insurance training with relevant professional experience, or a degree with a legal focus

• Experience in the claims processing process is an advantage

• Knowledge of tort law and insurance contract law

• Excellent PC user skills (MS-Office), RDB

• High level of personal responsibility and decisiveness, as well as an independent and rapid way of working and high communication skills, both written and oral, are required

• Technical affinity

• Team player with organizational talent and conflict resolution skills

• English in spoken and written form

A gross salary of at least EUR 44,144.24 p.a. is provided for this position. Overpayment is possible depending on your qualifications and professional experience. In addition, we offer you numerous benefits:
