Southern Port requires - High Voltage Electrical Engineer

For the Southern Port in Ashdod, a High Voltage Electrical Engineer is required,

As part of the role:

• Management and leading of projects in the field of electricity or as required by the direct manager.
• Responsible for the implementation of the annual maintenance plan.
• Replacing the shift manager in their role as needed, including shift work.
• Management and coordination of maintenance activity (electricity) during the day shift - in all shifts.
• Synchronization of maintenance activity (electricity) with other departments.
• Spare parts engineer in the field of electricity - defining and managing inventory levels for electrical spare parts.
• Control over maintenance activity (planned and breakdown).
• Implementation of a predictive maintenance plan.
• Performing equipment tests and writing test reports.
• Conducting training for the maintenance team under them.
• Accompanying contractors.
• Mentoring employees for maintenance work and operation of equipment and cranes.
• Participation in training and courses as and when required at the discretion of the department manager.
• Working on organizational systems and according to work procedures, including the maintenance system, time reporting system, and more.
• Providing support and backup to other maintenance departments as required.
• Ability to read drawings and extract relevant information.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and willingness to perform overtime.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory
• Electrical Engineer license – Mandatory
• 2–3 years of experience in industry in the field of electricity/high voltage – Mandatory
• Experience working with high voltage systems, electrical panels, transformers, and relays – Mandatory
• Experience in maintenance and operation of industrial electrical systems – Significant advantage
• Familiarity with control systems and SCADA – Advantage
• Experience in reading electrical plans and technical drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Working with contractors, suppliers, and maintenance personnel.
• Good level of technical English.
• Proficiency in Office applications.
• Willingness to work in the field and at non-standard hours when necessary.
