Buildings and Infrastructure Department Manager at the Port

For the South Port in Ashdod, a Buildings and Infrastructure Department Manager is required to manage a team to execute organizational maintenance plans and solve problems professionally while optimizing resource utilization.

Within the role:

• Writing and preparation of work plans in the field of infrastructure.
• Writing a detailed plan for fault detection.
• Performing equipment tests and writing test reports.
• Equipment maintenance and problem-solving.
• Managing the team to meet work plans.
• Conducting training for the maintenance team under their supervision.

Job requirements:

• Degree/Engineering Technician in a relevant field – Mechanical/Electrical/Building/Civil Engineering – Mandatory.
• Experience as a supervisor/team leader/manager of at least 5 years in the field of building and infrastructure maintenance – Mandatory. Experience in maintenance and problem-solving in buildings and infrastructure – Mandatory.
• Experience in managing and scheduling routine maintenance activities - Mandatory.
• Experience in managing contractors for the execution of maintenance works – Mandatory.
• Good command of speaking and writing in English – Mandatory.
• Electrician license + practical experience – Advantage.
• Experience in performing equipment tests and writing test reports.
• Experience in managing infrastructure, paving systems, and drainage – Significant advantage.
