Controller (m/f/d)

HBT GmbH (Hauhinco Bergbautechnik), headquartered in Lünen, NRW, is an internationally oriented company for special machine construction. HBT develops, designs, produces, and sells state-of-the-art high-performance technology for underground hard coal mining. The HBT product range ranges from electro-hydraulic shield supports, extraction machines, and conveying and transport systems to extensive automation solutions.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Controller (m/f/d).

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the planning and analysis of costs along the value stream, including reporting of management and control-relevant information to the division management
• You are also responsible for monitoring cost budgets and performing as well as commenting on various variance analyses
• Preparation and implementation of monthly review and performance meetings
• Construction and further development of KPI-based (performance visualization) reporting to determine and analyze KPIs for the areas of production, sales, projects, research and development, down to the order and material level
• You will also provide support in the context of monthly and annual financial statement preparation

Your Qualification

• You have successfully completed training as an Industriekaufmann/-frau (Industrial Clerk) with relevant additional training
• You have several years of professional experience in controlling and can convince with your expertise
• You have sound knowledge of using MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP
• An independent, self-reliant, and systematic way of working characterizes you
• You think solution-oriented and have a hands-on mentality
• Fluent English in spoken and written form
