Solutions Engineer

Our client is a well-established global technology organisation with a strong presence across Asia Pacific and an established reputation for delivering innovative solutions to a diverse range of commercial and infrastructure environments. As the business continues to expand across the region, they are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to provide technical leadership, support strategic customer engagements, and drive solutions engineering excellence across Asia Pacific.

Your new role

Reporting into the global leadership team, you will be the technical lead for Asia Pacific, driving complex professional audio solutions while leading regional engineering resources.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and specification of professional audio and AV solutions across Asia Pacific.
• Develop acoustic models, system simulations, and performance predictions using tools such as EASE.
• Partner with consultants, system integrators, distributors, and end users to deliver best-in-class technical solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, training programs, and customer workshops across the region.
• Lead and mentor regional Solutions Engineers, acting as the escalation point for complex projects while working closely with Sales and Product teams to drive business growth.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Technology, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with 8+ years of experience in professional audio, AV, or solutions engineering.
• Strong expertise in audio system design, acoustics, loudspeaker systems, DSP platforms, networking, and audio transport technologies.
• Hands-on experience using EASE, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design and modelling tools, with the ability to develop complex system designs and specifications.
• Proven ability to support and influence consultants, system integrators, distributors, and end users, coupled with strong presentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience, willingness to travel across APAC, and Mandarin language proficiency is essential to effectively support and collaborate with stakeholders across China and the wider region.
