Your tasks

Your new role

• Provide day-to-day automation and PLC support for manufacturing operations within a pharmaceutical production environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, control system and equipment automation issues to minimise production downtime.
• Maintain, configure and modify PLC systems using Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Automation platforms in accordance with approved procedures.
• Manage automation-related change controls, including documentation, impact assessments, testing and compliance with GMP requirements.
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance and quality teams to resolve technical issues and ensure automation systems remain reliable and compliant.
• Maintain technical and change control documentation, support knowledge transfer activities, and participate in on-call support when required.

Requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Hands-on experience supporting PLC and industrial automation systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Automation platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC, control system and equipment automation issues in an operational plant environment.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements, change control and technical documentation, ideally within pharmaceutical or another regulated industry.
