School Administrator Newcastle upon Tyne Full-Time Long-Term Temporary Start Date: 2nd November 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive administrative support within the school office.
• Managing telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate pupil, staff, and attendance records.
• Supporting admissions, safeguarding, and general school administration.
• Producing correspondence, reports, and documentation as required.
• Updating and maintaining school databases and management systems.
• Assisting senior leaders and wider school staff with administrative tasks.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous administration experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A professional and approachable manner.

Desirable

• Previous school or education-based administrative experience is highly desirable.
• Experience using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, or ScholarPack.

Essential Requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is ESSENTIAL Available to start on 2nd November 2026. Ability to provide professional references covering recent employment.
