About the Role
As a Teacher of Science, you will play a key role in inspiring students and developing their understanding of the world around them. You will deliver engaging lessons that challenge learners, build confidence and encourage a genuine interest in scientific thinking.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster curiosity and critical thinking through practical and theory-based learning.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with differing abilities and learning styles.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and attainment.
- Contribute to the wider success of the Science department.
- Support students both academically and personally.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues, parents and carers.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and enthusiasm for your subject.
- The ability to motivate and inspire young people.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- ECTs and experienced teachers are equally encouraged to apply.
