The Role:
As a Teacher of Science, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. You will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and specialism.
You will be joining schools that are committed to high standards, strong pastoral support, and creating positive learning environments where students can thrive both academically and personally.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons.
- Teaching engaging content across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback.
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Contributing to departmental development and school improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and attendance.
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
