JOB LOCATION: Huntingdon JOB TYPE: Fixed term contract JOB DURATION: until end March 2027 JOB HOURS: 37.5 hours per week JOB SALARY: £27000 per annum

Your new role

This is a busy and varied administration role where you'll provide support to a Team Lead and wider coordination team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for a key customer account.Working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting contractor management processes and ensuring operational information is updated and compliant at all times.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating operational data and electronic records
  • Reviewing and reconciling information with a high level of accuracy
  • Booking drivers and vehicles onto systems
  • Preparing information for invoicing and checking operational data
  • Updating booking references and verifying delivery information
  • Managing documentation including driver paperwork, testing results and certificates
  • Supporting scheduling, filing and general administrative activities
  • Processing new driver information and ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Responding to emails, telephone calls and internal communications within agreed service levels
  • Raising purchase orders and processing contractor invoices
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, particularly around health and safety standards

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need previous experience in a fast-paced administrative position where accuracy and organisation are critical.You'll ideally possess:

  • Strong administration experience within a busy office environment
  • Excellent data entry and data management skills
  • High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and SharePoint
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • A proactive approach and willingness to support colleagues across the wider team
  • Confidence working with operational systems, records and compliance documentation
