An established independent property and construction consultancy is seeking a Senior or Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a unique long-term secondment opportunity based at Glasgow Airport. This role offers the chance to work client-side on a significant estate and infrastructure portfolio, supporting a range of capital projects within a complex operational environment. You'll be joining a respected consultancy with a strong reputation across Scotland, providing expert cost management and commercial advice across a diverse range of sectors.

Your new role
As a Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will be embedded within the client's project team, providing commercial and cost management expertise across a variety of refurbishment, infrastructure, estate improvement and capital investment projects. Key responsibilities will include:
- Cost planning and budget management
- Procurement and tendering support
- Contract administration and commercial management
- Preparation and review of estimates, valuations and final accounts
- Risk management and cost reporting
- Managing project stakeholders and contractors
- Providing strategic commercial advice to project teams
- Supporting the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- MRICS qualified or working towards chartership (preferred)
- Proven consultancy or client-side Quantity Surveying experience
- Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle
- Strong contract knowledge and commercial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a client-facing environment
- Experience within infrastructure, aviation, construction, property or major capital projects would be advantageous
