Hays Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Data & Exams Manager on behalf of a thriving secondary school in Huddersfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused professional to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of school data systems, examinations, and reporting processes.

The Role

As Data & Exams Manager, you will be at the heart of the school's operational success, overseeing student data, performance reporting, examinations, and assessment processes.

Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, examination boards, and external agencies, you'll help ensure data is accurate, compliant, and used effectively to drive school improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all internal and external examination processes
• Act as the main point of contact for examination boards
• Maintain and develop the school's MIS system
• Produce accurate reports and pupil performance data
• Support school leaders with data analysis and reporting
• Ensure compliance with JCQ regulations and examination procedures
• Manage exam timetables, entries, results and post-results services
• Train and support staff on data and examination processes
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times

We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working within a school data and/or examinations role
• Strong knowledge of school MIS systems (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or similar)
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• A meticulous eye for detail
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities
• Experience managing competing deadlines and priorities
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of JCQ regulations is highly desirable.
