A leading national hospitality and property organisation is seeking a Property Surveyor to join its established Property team. Responsible for a diverse portfolio of commercial assets, the organisation is renowned for investing in its estate and creating successful, sustainable locations across the UK.

Your new role

As Property Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining a varied property portfolio across the Home Counties and Northamptonshire. Working closely with operational stakeholders, you'll provide professional surveying expertise to protect and enhance the value of the estate.Key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking property inspections, condition surveys and defect diagnosis.
• Specifying, procuring and managing repair, maintenance and improvement works.
• Managing planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Providing technical advice on building-related matters and statutory compliance.
• Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring works are delivered to time, cost and quality expectations.
• Preparing reports, specifications and schedules of work.
• Supporting investment projects, refurbishments and property improvement initiatives.
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

This is a highly autonomous role offering a mix of home working and regular site visits across a varied and interesting property portfolio.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience within Building Surveying, Property Surveying or Estate Management.
• Knowledge of building pathology, maintenance and contract management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across a regional portfolio.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership would be advantageous but is not essential.
