Hays are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation based in Leeds to recruit a commercially focused Pricing Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional to join a high-performing team, supporting strategic pricing decisions that drive business performance and profitability.
Your tasks
Working closely with key stakeholders across finance, sales and commercial teams, you will play a pivotal role in analysing pricing structures, market trends and customer data to provide valuable insights and recommendations. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse pricing data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
- Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies.
- Produce regular pricing, margin and profitability reports.
- Monitor competitor activity and market conditions.
- Develop financial models to assess pricing scenarios and commercial outcomes.
- Work closely with sales and commercial teams to ensure pricing consistency and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Provide insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
- Maintain pricing databases and ensure data accuracy.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Pricing Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Revenue Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and data analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
