Part-Time School Administrator - Swindon

Hays Education is looking for an experienced School Administrator to provide temporary office support within a busy primary school in Swindon.This is a great opportunity for someone with previous school office experience who is confident working independently and can make a positive impact from day one. Previous experience using SIMS is essential for this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the school office
• Using SIMS to maintain and access pupil and school information
• Handling telephone and general enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Providing administrative support using Microsoft Excel, Word and Forms
• Supporting staff, pupils and visitors throughout the school day
• Moving around the school site to support children and deliver items to classrooms
• Assisting with general school administration as required

What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous school office/administration experience
• SIMS experience is essential
• Tucasi knowledge would be advantageous
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Forms
• A confident and professional telephone manner
• The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• A proactive, organised and flexible approach
• First Aid training would be desirable
• The ability to work across a large two-storey school site
