Opex Controller (FP&A) - Retail

Your new company You will work for a large international consumer and retail group operating across branded products, specialist retail and associated services, with a significant global footprint.
Your tasks
Your new role
- Managing cost reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Providing insightful analysis on financial performance and key variances.
- Partnering with stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.
- Identifying risks, opportunities and potential cost efficiencies.
- Producing meaningful management information and reporting.
- Supporting improvements across finance processes and controls.
- Business Partnering with various key stakeholders/teams including procurement and marketing.
- Reconciliation/tracking of actuals.
Requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Recent, relevant experience, working in a similar FP&A/Analyst or Opex role
- Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA)
- Experience working in a product-based industry i.e. Retail, Manufacturing, FMCG
- ERP system experience i.e. SAP, Oracle
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Month end close
- Intermediate/advanced Excel
- Immediate availability is highly desirable. Up to a 1 month notice period will be considered
