Milton Keynes £26,533 per annum (£13.61 per hour) Full Time | Driver Required

Looking for a role where you can genuinely change lives? We're recruiting for a Link Worker to support people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, living in temporary accommodation, or transitioning into permanent housing. Working across Milton Keynes, you'll provide practical, person-centred support to help individuals overcome barriers and achieve long-term independence.

The Role

As a Link Worker, you'll manage a caseload of individuals with a range of support needs, helping them to sustain accommodation and improve their overall wellbeing. You'll work closely with external agencies and community partners to ensure people receive the support they need to move forward positively. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting individuals with housing, tenancy sustainment and homelessness prevention.
• Assisting with benefit applications, health appointments, employment opportunities and access to wider support services.
• Developing tailored support plans and risk assessments.
• Building strong relationships with housing, health, social care and community partners.
• Maintaining accurate case notes and outcome records.
• Supporting service users to understand tenancy obligations, budgeting and rent payments.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable people and can build positive relationships with individuals who may struggle to engage with services. You'll ideally have:

• Experience supporting people with complex or multiple needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience maintaining clear and accurate records.
• The ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
• Good IT skills and attention to detail.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
