Interim Accounts Payable Specialist

About the company

The Opportunity A successful food manufacturing and distribution business is looking to appoint an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to provide additional support during a period of growth and investment. The business has recently expanded its supplier network and requires an experienced AP professional to take ownership of key supplier accounts.

Your tasks

• Managing end-to-end purchase ledger activities
• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes
• Preparing weekly payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Resolving invoice discrepancies and pricing queries
• Liaising with procurement and warehouse teams
• Maintaining supplier account information
• Assisting with month-end reporting

Requirements

• Proven Accounts Payable experience
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Excellent organisational ability
• Confident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders
