HGV Driver - Winter Gritting

About the company

Your new company Ourclient based in Lanarkshire is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join theirteam for Winter Gritting between October-March. Weekly standby rates & callout rates.

Your tasks

Your new role You'll be driving the Winter Gritters to treat roads during icy and snowy conditions. You'll follow planned routes and respond to call-outs when needed. Shifts include nights and weekends.

Main duties include

• Operating HGV Class 2 gritting vehicles
• Carrying out vehicle checks
• Completing basic paperwork
• Working flexibly across shifts

Requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Valid HGV Class 2/7.5 tonne licence
• CPC and Tachograph
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Previous experience is helpful but not essential
