Exam Officer
Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 2:30pm Duration: TEMP
A welcoming secondary school in Leicester is seeking an experienced Exams Officer to provide temporary absence cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with school-based exam experience who can confidently manage exam administration and hit the ground running.
The Role
- Managing exam entries, assessment data, course codes and student records
- Producing exam timetables, candidate schedules, seating plans and room allocations
- Submitting entries, amendments and results to awarding bodies via EDI/A2C
- Supporting the administration of vocational qualifications, including BTEC registrations and certifications
- Coordinating access arrangements with the SENDCo and ensuring exam-day provisions are in place
- Maintaining exam security and ensuring full compliance with JCQ regulations
- Supporting the coordination and briefing of invigilators
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience as an Exams Officer or Exams Administrator
- System knowledge: Bromcom
- Understanding of JCQ regulations and exam procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
