Hays Education are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school in Batley to recruit a passionate and talented Drama and Music Teacher for a long-term role beginning immediately after the October half-term break.

This exciting opportunity is offered on a 3-day-per-week basis and is expected to continue until at least Christmas, with the potential for extension.

The Role

As a Drama and Music Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging Drama lessons that inspire creativity and confidence.
• Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of performance and musical expression.
• Encourage participation in practical, inclusive and enjoyable lessons.
• Create a positive learning environment where students can develop both academically and personally.
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the school's curriculum expectations.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Drama and/or Music within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A passion for creative arts and helping students achieve their potential.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues alike.
