Your New Company Our client is delivering a secure, enterprise-scale AI and analytics platform within a regulated public sector environment. The programme aims to enable scalable and production-ready AI and machine learning capabilities through modern cloud technologies and engineering best practices. Your New Role As a Data Engineer, you will design and develop integrations, event-driven ingestion pipelines, and data migration solutions to support a large-scale AI platform. Working within a cloud-native AWS environment, you will build reliable data movement processes, implement reconciliation mechanisms, and ensure data quality, scalability, and security throughout the platform. What You'll Need to Succeed
Requirements
- Strong experience building integrations using APIs, webhooks, REST services, and event streams.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, and DynamoDB.
- Strong Python development skills for automation and data engineering.
- Experience implementing reconciliation processes and state tracking.
- Practical experience delivering data migration projects using AWS DMS or similar technologies.
- Experience with Apache Airflow, dbt, Jira, or Confluence would be beneficial.
