Your new company A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to recruit an Assembly Technician to join its production team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with mechanical assembly experience who enjoys working within a quality-focused engineering environment. Your new role
Your tasks
- Assemble mechanical components and products to required specifications.
- Work from engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical documentation.
- Use hand tools, measuring equipment and workshop equipment safely and accurately.
- Inspect completed assemblies and identify any quality or manufacturing issues.
- Complete relevant production and quality documentation.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of expertise, safety and housekeeping.
Requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous mechanical assembly, fitting or technician experience within manufacturing or engineering.
- Confident using hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Able to understand engineering drawings and technical instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-first approach.
- Experience within a precision engineering or regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
