Accounts Payable Processor

Your new company

A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Transaction Processor to join their finance team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts payable or finance administration experience to join a well-established business offering a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Your new role

Working as part of an established Accounts Payable team main duties will include:

• Processing and matching supplier invoices within the finance system
• Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers regarding payment issues
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations
• Managing telephone and email correspondence relating to accounts payable activities
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls, processes and SOX requirements
• Meeting agreed service levels and operational targets
• Supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives and system testing where required
• Maintaining high levels of customer service across the business

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset
• The ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines
• Experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems would be advantageous
• Exposure to invoice workflow systems would be beneficial but is not essential
