Accounts Payable/ P2P Analyst

Your tasks

An opportunity has arisen within a large public sector organisation for an experienced Accounts Payable / P2P Analyst to support a time-limited piece of work focused on the transfer and improvement of key finance processes.The role will focus on ensuring clear ownership of purchase-to-pay activities, providing practical training and guidance to relevant staff, and supporting compliant and sustainable processes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate training on purchase orders, requisitions, receipting, CPA and contract management.
• Support the transfer of purchase order and receipting activities, establishing clear responsibilities and ownership.
• Provide practical training and guidance on Accounts Payable and purchase-to-pay processes.
• Ensure processes comply with financial regulations, procurement procedures and internal controls.
• Document agreed processes, responsibilities and handover arrangements.

How to apply

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous finance experience within a local authority/council or housing organisation.
• Strong knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes, including purchase orders, requisitions, receipting and payments.
• Experience using Oracle (Desirable)

Your new role Interim Accounts Payable / P2P Analyst Public Sector Organisation £22 - £28/hour (depending on experience as per the JD) North West London Hybrid - 3 days/ week in the office
