Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

• Analysis, control, and tracking of internal and external quality reports including ERP documentation
• Carrying out root cause analyses together with the involved specialist departments
• Definition, implementation, and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions
• Communication with customers, suppliers, and internal specialist departments as well as troubleshooting for quality problems
• Support during internal and external audits as well as ensuring compliance with standards
• Supplier development as well as planning and conducting supplier audits
• Moderation of FRB/MRB meetings and tracking of resulting measures
• Review and optimization of inspection plans and inspection instructions for sustainable quality improvement
• Release or blocking of products and processes as well as creation of product-related certificates
• Training and sensitization of employees in handling quality reports and quality processes

Your Qualifications:

• Successfully completed university engineering degree or completed technical college training or comparable qualification with a focus on mechanics and several years of industrial experience
• Professional experience in quality inspection, preferably in the automotive, aerospace, or defense industry / additional training in quality management, e.g., Manager Qualitätssicherung (DGQ) or comparable
• Sound knowledge of common quality methods such as 8D, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, and 5M
• Conceptual, result-, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong analytical skills as well as systematic and structured approach
• High level of initiative, independent action, and resilience
• Teamwork skills as well as constructive handling of conflicts while simultaneously maintaining assertiveness and willingness to compromise
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing / confident handling of SAP and MS Office
• Willingness to travel
