Homologation Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

• Advising within projects on homologation topics
• Definition of the homologation scope for order vehicles in cooperation with the responsible system engineer
• Coordination of homologation orders as well as presentation of these within project committees
• Preparation of applications to authorities for approvals (new or supplements) for systems, components, and vehicles
• Preparation and issuance of registration-relevant documents (including description sheets, DOC/conformity certificates, etc.)
• Planning of homologation tests in coordination with other specialist departments and external service providers
• Updating type approval documents within Typmaster (authorities and technical services)
• Preparation of vehicle tests as well as support in the execution of pre-tests

Your Qualifications:

• Completed technical university or FH degree, HTL or equivalent training in mechanical engineering or automotive technology
• Basic technical and commercial knowledge
• Experience with: UN-R155: CSMS, Cyber Security Management System // UN-R156: SUMS, Software Update Management System desirable
• Great technical interest in the topic of commercial vehicles
• Knowledge in the field of individual vehicle approval and/or homologation
• Experience with EU regulations and directives
• Project management experience is an advantage
• Very good MS-Office skills
• Business fluent English skills
• High communication skills, also when dealing with authorities and technical services
• Strong service orientation, presentation and moderation experience
