IT Operations AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

• AI & Analytics deployment in system operations: Application of artificial intelligence and advanced analytical methods in infrastructure operations (anomaly detection, log analysis, predictive monitoring, and analysis of operational telemetry data).
• Increasing efficiency through AI tools: Use of AI-supported and agent-based tools to optimize operational efficiency, in scripting, documentation, and knowledge preservation - always subject to final human validation.
• Operation of AI workloads: Provisioning and operation of AI applications on Kubernetes and cloud platforms, including containerized AI services and model inference services.
• Further development of the AI/ML infrastructure: Activation and continuous optimization of the AI/ML infrastructure (GPU / vGPU acceleration, AI frameworks, data pipelines).
• CI/CD integration: Integration of AI-supported functions into CI/CD platforms to promote Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) development.
• Technology evaluation: Conducting Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), benchmarking, and architecture evaluations for emerging AI technologies.

Your Qualifications:

• AI Engineering: Confident handling of AI programming assistants (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and agent-based development.
• Infrastructure AI: Practical experience with AI-supported anomaly detection, log analysis, and predictive monitoring in system operations.
• Cloud & Container: Provisioning of AI applications and model inference services on Kubernetes and common cloud platforms.
• Pipeline integration: Integration of AI assistants into existing CI/CD platforms such as GitLab.
• ML Frameworks & Hardware: Know-how in platforms such as PyTorch or TensorFlow as well as experience with GPU/vGPU-accelerated environments.
• Linux & Automation: Advanced knowledge in Linux administration as well as in writing automation scripts with Bash and Python.
• Qualification & Practice: Completed Bachelor's degree in a relevant field paired with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Processes & Availability: Fluent English, experience with ITIL service processes (Incident/Change), and willingness to perform occasional on-call duties.
