Your tasks:

• Design and development of components and assemblies for wiring systems
• Creation and maintenance of 3D-CAD models as well as technical drawings
• Performance of simulations and feasibility analyses for moving cable and line systems
• Technical testing, evaluation, and approval of 3D customer models
• Creation, modification, and management of design and product documentation
• Optimization of technical processes, work instructions, and documentation workflows
• Coordination with suppliers as well as internal departments such as Engineering, Production, Quality, and Purchasing
• Support of development projects in the field of rail and connection technology
• Analysis and evaluation of design components regarding economic efficiency and technical feasibility

Your qualifications:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Engineering, or a comparable technical training
• Professional experience in the field of design, product development, or CAD Engineering
• Experience in the development of components, assemblies, or wiring systems
• Confident handling of CAD systems and technical drawings
• Ideally knowledge of Siemens NX as well as IPS Flexstructure
• Good technical understanding as well as an analytical and structured way of working
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good to very good English skills in speaking and writing
• Experience in the field of harness development, wiring systems, or connection technology is an advantage
• Knowledge in the Rail/Railway environment is an advantage
• Experience in working with international development and manufacturing teams is desirable
