Design R&D Engineer
- Analyze customer requirements and develop product designs in accordance with customer specifications, automotive standards, and company requirements.
- Design and develop wire harness and related products, ensuring compliance with quality, performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
- Prepare, review, revise, and release engineering documents, including engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Sales, and customers throughout the product development and mass production processes.
- Support new product development (NPD), engineering change requests (ECR/ECN), product validation, and continuous improvement activities to achieve customer satisfaction and manufacturing excellence.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field). 0–3 years of experience in product design, R&D, or engineering within the automotive, electronics, or wire harness industry is preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply. Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical documentation. Familiarity with product development processes, engineering change management (ECR/ECN), and manufacturing processes is an advantage. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX) is preferred. Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Good command of English, both written and spoken. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines. Willingness to learn, adapt to changes, and continuously improve technical knowledge and skills.
