» About the position We are looking for an analyst in the field of sports technology to join our Remote Operations Center in Sofia. You will work with an international team that supports the technologies used at major sporting events. The role involves data processing, quality control, and system monitoring to ensure the successful conduct of events. Working hours are flexible and depend on the event schedule, with 8-hour shifts covering weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Shifts are planned according to the event schedule, availability, and skills. Consultants are expected to be available at least 4 days per week.
» What you will be doing
- Before, during, and after events: Performing checks to ensure that systems and data are ready and working as expected
- Live data monitoring: Monitoring data quality during live sporting events and identifying anything that looks incorrect
- Troubleshooting: Identifying, investigating, and resolving issues or data anomalies using Hawk-Eye tools and software
- Data processing and delivery: Processing and exporting data for storage and distribution
- Post-match reporting: Preparing reports to be provided to the client after events
- Identifying improvement opportunities: Analyzing data and identifying ways to improve quality and efficiency
» Your knowledge and skills
- Strong technical mindset and confidence when working with data and technology
- Flexibility is mandatory, with regular evening shifts and weekend shifts, aligned with the international sporting calendar
- Experience with video editing or working with video content would also be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- High-level proficiency in English
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from Hawk-Eye around the world
- Passion for sports, and especially football, baseball, and basketball
