Transport Manager (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Participation in the further development of existing services and participation in the development of new services in the field of transport (incl. implementation)
• Technical and disciplinary leadership, promotion, and further development of employees
• Coordinating the cooperation between the Warehouse and Transport departments in the DC
• Responsibility for the vocational training "Berufskraftfahrer" (Central Training Officer)
• Result-oriented management of the area of responsibility
• Ensuring operational business – Operations Excellence

- Route planning - Employee scheduling - Loading - Fleet technology

• Participation in the efficient and sustainable design and further development of structures, processes, standards, and reporting (incl. implementation)

Requirements:

• Degree or several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• Many years of leadership experience in the operational area
• Strong goal and result orientation
• Strong decision-making competence and assertiveness
• Good analytical and conceptual skills
• Good communication skills
• Good written and spoken English skills
