Air Freight Export Operations Officer

Job Summary
Manage air freight operations including airline bookings, shipment coordination, documentation, invoicing, and customer service to ensure efficient export processes and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate airline bookings and manage related procedures to ensure timely shipments
- Oversee daily shipment orders and track progress to maintain export schedules
- Prepare and manage full sets of export documents to comply with regulations
- Communicate with destination offices and agents to provide shipment pre-alerts
- Issue accurate invoices to customers and agents for services rendered
- Print House Air Waybills (HAWB), manifests, and Master Air Waybills (MAWB) for airline submissions
- Prepare billing for local deliveries and verify vendor invoices for accuracy
- Respond to customer inquiries and quotations, manage agent correspondences, and provide effective solutions to issues
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Air Freight, preferably within Freight Forwarding Industry
- Proficiency in Cargowise 1 system for freight management
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Excel
- Demonstrated proactive, pragmatic, and independent work approach
- Strong attention to detail in handling documentation and billing
