About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead engineering design projects from inception to successful completion. Joining our established Civil, Structural & Geotechnical consultancy team, you will act as the keydriver for project lifecycles, managing multidisciplinary stakeholders and ensuring high standards of technical excellence, safety, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Lifecycles Management: Lead engineering design projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and under budget while maintaining strict technical and safety standards.
- Commercial & Contract Management: Oversee project financials through resource allocation optimization and budget tracking. Manage consultancy contracts , variation orders (VOs), billing milestones, and overall project profitability.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, main contractors, and MEP consultants. Coordinate multi-disciplinary interfaces to ensure seamless project execution and reporting.
- Authority Approvals & Submissions: Manage the master submission schedule to local regulatory bodies ( BCA, LTA, PUB, URA ). Coordinate closely with Qualified Persons (QPs) to secure timely clearances and permits.
- Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify project risks, mitigate delays, and manage engineering resource scheduling. Maintain compliance with corporate quality management systems.
Job Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering , Project Management, or a related built-environment discipline from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Singapore construction industry, with at least 3 years in a project management or lead coordinator role within a C&S consultancy or developer environment.
- Certification: Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Singapore’s construction regulations, building control acts, and authority submission procedures.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, negotiation capabilities, and sharp problem-solving skills to manage complex project timelines and diverse project teams.
Remuneration& Benefits
- Monthly Base Salary: SGD4,000 – SGD5,500 per month (Commensurate with experience, project portfolio, and specific certifications).
